I've visited singapore many times before, but this time was special. This Year not only had I taken up film photography, but I had watched Blade Runner for the first time. It is one of the most amazing movies I've watched, with its gorgeous cinematography and soundtrack,  its one of my top movies. I was keen to see if I could experience and capture its style in real life, visiting Singapore during the time Blade Runner takes place, November 2019. The movie paints a potential real future, of a grungy, highly populated, tech driven city.  A similar movie Ghost in the Shell captures this, but more accurately during the day, and a place like hong kong is scarily close to being a copy. Though Singapore which is a much more modern city and aims to be clean, still captures aspects. During the day it can be super busy, at night some places become almost liminal spaces, due to many high-rises and spread out layout. Film used: Cinestill 800T and 50D
